Soar Africa Foundation

WHO WE ARE

We are a Christian initiative registered with the department of Social Welfare of Ghana, with a godly mandate of improving and elevating the lives of women and children in Africa and beyond. We are strictly non-profit, non-political and non-denominational; in essence, we embrace all people with a determined heart for a positive change in the affairs of women and children, in the right direction.  We also take keen interest in ensuring youth development.

Soar Africa Foundation

OUR VISION

  • To become one of the most effective NGO’s who will operate in the kingdom of heaven for the sole purpose of improving and/or protecting the psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing of the less-privileged and/or vulnerable women and children in Africa and the rest of the world.

WHAT WE DO

  • Campaigns/sensitization programs through movie productions & art work.
  • Visitation and donation to less privileged homes and under-privileged women and children at the remote areas both in kind and in cash.
  • Organization of training programs such as vocational and emotional intelligence.
  • Sponsoring young children’s education and children who are victims of child labor, abuse, prostitution and orphans.
  • Psychological assessment and treatment of less privileged children and women who are victims of abuse and violence.
  • Psychological and medical outreach to the less privileged women and children, especially those in remote areas.
  • Organizing free semester programs, such as seminars, conference, etc. for students.
  • Encouraging open, inclusive and informed discussion at the community, local, national and international level, to ensure that all girls around the world can stay in school, stay healthy and fulfill their dreams.

OUR MISSION

  • We are committed to improving and elevating the lives of women and children by eradicating poverty; promoting and protecting their rights and privileges by serving as advocate for the fight against women and gender-based violence, child marriage, child abuse and modern day slavery.
  • We also take keen interest in youth development by educating and encouraging them to find some creative ways of using their gifts and talents NOT only to create wealth but to also protect the rights of the less privileged. This helps to effect a positive change in the field and minds of individuals and the society at large towards the rights of women and children.
